Dear...,
it would be so difficult for me to reply only on locally produced, seasonal food, because our society is so far sophisticated that there are only a few agricultures who produce locally and seasonal food and the other food is produced by big firms abroad. Germany produce too little food that we would have a chance to eat only locally produced, seasonal food, because Germany like many other countries have their producing focus on other products and produce them for the export, because thereby they profits more.
Another point is the cost factor again. The import of food from countried which ahre speacalised on producing food from countries which are specalised on producing food is much cheaper than producing it on our own. Besides that the trade is important for the global trade, because Germany can's produce everything for exmaple fuel because it has no fuel sources and on this account Germany is dependent on this trade.
